Black or Dark Grey Granite stone walls will be a much more impressive than this ugly white podium. ... looks bland...the rest is awesome

I'd rather they demolished the podium and built a better version of this:

The Pudium should had been covered in black granite to match those new black vertical stripes.

Any picture of how was the original podium?

I think I just about prefer the new podium cladding, but neither is great for me.

Wow! finally done! it looks like new. I agree with most people on the podium... stark white and boring. Would have been cool if they at least had translucent panels with RGB LEDs behind them to give it a different look and street presence at night. But then again it seems like everyone is putting LEDs on anything that stands still.

Nice to see they're repainting the TD center. If only 1 Liberty Plaza would follow suit.

But this project was completed long ago, shouldn't it be moved to archives?

there has been minor work on the base for a while, but I think that it is finally finsished.
