Denman prospect stage 2 plans have been submitted.

Most interesting thing is that the suburb (like most new Canberra suburbs now) is dominated by multi-residential.

1886 dwellings in medium/high density projects vs 621 single residential blocks.

New development application submitted for 74 Leichhardt St in Griffith. 7 levels, 87 apartments.

Given what's already there and proposed to be built, the approximate 5 hectare block bounded by Canberra Ave, Burke, Wentworth and Hely will eventually house about 1000 apartments.

Geocon has won the tender for the arts precinct at Kingston Foreshore. No designs available yet.

A couple of quick pics of Kingston Foreshore I took last week.

Atelier (left) and The Prince (right) now complete and being occupied.

The Pier now complete. No commercial tenancies occupied just yet.

Axiom apartments (111 Canberra Avenue, 57 apartments) are nearly done.

That little block is still really busy as well. When everything is complete there'll be somewhere around 800 apartments across less than 5 hectares.

Current projects include Indigo (70 apartments), just to the left of Axiom at 115 Canberra Ave.
The Archer (98 apartments) which is next door to Indigo is on sale and the site has been cleared
The Win News site (127 apartments, approved) at 82-84 Wentworth ave, just to the right of where I took the picture.
74 Leichhardt St (87 apartments, just to the left of the picture) is also approved.

And the 'Most disappointing project in Canberra' award goes to:

http://www.canberratimes.com.au/act-...11-gvig71.html

Such a waste. What could have been the next Kingston Foreshore with 1800 dwellings has instead become a low/medium density townhouse development with only 380 dwellings.

Couple of pics

Axiom now complete

Indigo nearly topped out.

Also, The Archer (just to the right of Indigo) seems to be underway with a lot of groundworks going on.

Looks like there's a crane up near the big roundabout in Griffith. I assume it's for the Archer.

Great plan, but seriously, just $6.25 mil? What a steal.
