Interesting that they are installing the upper raker first, as all previous ones have started from bottom up!

they are cast as trapezoids etc - you can see several lying around - I'm not sure that the big rectangular slab is a vomitory wall - although I dont know what else it is.

It's the base of this. They put it together last evening.

Not sure I believe the rest about more significant investment beyond the individual matches. IMO they will cover the retractable pitch and anything else specific to them. 10m covers that, no?

The article is not very on the ball either.

The new stadium will include a retractable synthetic surface, set beneath the grass pitch, that will be used for NFL games.

I hate that the new cams are hosted on youtube, because youtube is blocked at work, so now I actually have to work instead of looking at the cams

I have the same issue using the Company Network but luckily the office building we are in have their own independent wifi network so I can login to that for my phone and tablet.

I think the cameraman's fine given that he was in the back of a two-seater.

The west stand Raker's seem to have a support at either end of each unit so it won't matter which order they go up, the North stand lower Raker is a canter lever.

Interesting to see there's a bit of a gap between the West side Raker's and the inbuilt concrete Raker's. (Walkway?)

If this sign says CONCLAD ( I can't be sure that it does) this section might be the setup for internal/external concrete cladding.

It may do, but not sure either. The sign isn't the same font or logo as shown on their website.

They seem to be a bit short on materials, need a few deliveries Hardly any terracing and little in the way of steel, must of been a good week on the build

Negative, ghostrider. With a call sign of Bergkamp 1 he looks right on target!

Fine, we'll compromise and have him steer west and pay a visit to The Bridge.

I'll take "Old News is Old," for $400, Alex.

Could be an optical illusion but it looks to me as though the two rakers they've installed thus far are middle rakers rather than upper. These two don't seem to go high enough or far enough back so there ought to be one more above as well as one below.

If I'm right (and not making myself seem entirely foolish), does anyone have any idea as to why they would have designed the rakers to be in three sections here as opposed to two on the north stand?

I too think they're the middle Jim. Perhaps the whole three parts is too long to install as two - there is a shortish (3rd?) part of a raker near the blue crane - I think its been there for some time and would make up the c32 rows needed along the West side perhaps.

yeah, i think you might be right about the middle raker

if you look at TL5

sorry, it's not very clear but you can see the outside steel uprights go quite close to the edge of the floor, but not all the way to the edge...

looking at the level 9 plan of the west stand

it looks like that area where the sky lounge is, is quite narrow and i guess there might be enough space for it...

could be completely wrong though, it;s difficult to tell

There are only a couple of extra rows above this raker, so I doubt we will see a full raker, but just a couple of extra bits of steel to support the extra two rows.
