Received a request for the first quarter fees this morning, had an enquiry re an issue that I had with the last management company and received a reply immediately, fantastic.

I shall be paying next week when I am there. I would love to think that everyone else did!

Thanks for the heads-up Kevan. I haven't received any email yet - I'll keep a look out.
p.s. how much are the fees this year? Same as last or have they increased?

Correction, I just found it:-)

Same rate as last year by the looks of it so sight of relief

Paid, query sorted, just received the confirmation.... still owe them 57 dhs. Would be good if all occupants were able to say this. however, visited my brother's in Marina Diamond and he hasn't paid his. So they have cut off his water, electricity and posted his name in the communal areas.

Received an email from the management company today. Stating that will take legal steps to recover outstanding monies that may result in loss of ownership..... I OWE U 57 DHS!

You are right they should cut off electricity, water and AC for those who have not paid.

I am fully paid up. I asked for confirmation and got "balance outstanding NIL"

Select came up with a great idea, they have proximity card readers in the lifts. You can not call a lift unless you have a card and the key pad inside the lift does not work until you swipe a valid card. Fall behind with the maintenance and you have to take the stairs.

I was in the Torch and they have that system, also excludes access to the car park. Marina Diamond have disconnected my brother, if you live there.... it will work. Me I don't see why some are allowed to just continue to flaunt the payment system.

Anyway, off to collect my benefits! ;-)
