Do the British spend too much time in tanning salons? - Page 2

My hairdresser has a tanning bed in her studio and I have used it occasionally, not to tan but to get a little of warmth on my skin, I love it during the fucking cold months, also, it's supposedly healthy boosting your vitamin D creation or something like that, also (supposedly) helps with the mood, I'm moody and depressed like that and cold weather only makes it worse.

These fuckwits have also used fake tan, I doubt you can get like that simply by spending too much time in a tanning bed.

I don't know about the alleged health benefits of using it in moderation, but I know that when I've used it during the shitty cold weather it's made me feel good. Like I said I've done that only occasionally, not everybody is one of these idiots.

My little sister uses fake tan - I will never understand, for as long as I live, the obsession with tanning or looking like you're tanned.

Well, I say looking like you're tanned, fake tan does not look real at all it just looks like you have a sexual perversion for cheesy flavoured crisp snacks.

Never been in one. I have quite a few moles on my skin so I tend to avoid exposing it to the sun if I can these days or use high factor protection.

A lot of girls use fake tanning lotions rather than go to tan beds. There's a general perception that a slight tan makes you look healthier.

I particularly like it but it doesn't take much to overdo it.
