Wonder what the proposal looks like? That existing building is pretty grim looking.

I hope they don't touch the buildings behind it. but 481 itself isn't that much of a loss.

It is a bit prison-like.

I thought there was a slow down in condo sales? 748 condos? That's a lot to sell in a slowing market, filled with new condos.

Looks a bit schizoid, like they couldn't make up their minds as to which style to go with and just cobbled them all together. I can't say I like it.

It is a bit busy. I do like the beige section quite a bit. This would look better if they continued with that motif throughout.

I don't find that nice or creative at all. Looks unfocused and amateur. Terrible.

a bit of a dog's breakfast. And I'm over the renderings that give the illusion that the building will flare outward as it goes upward.

Are they going to name this building the Tetris Tower?

Looks terrible, like they had no idea what to go with and squeezed a bunch of different designs into one. At least they are keeping the heritage buildings.
I don't think the Maclean-Hunter building looks like a prison, it is a nice clean example from it's time period, especially like the bas-reliefs on the ground floor.

I don't think that the render was done like that but you're seeing lens distortion in the picture. Look at the small image on the sign. The camera was likely on an angle.

It looks a lot like Mars Phase 2 and I kind of like it. It could almost pass as an office tower.

It's by B+H. That's why it looks like a taller Mars 2.

Negative feedbacks, not enough hits. Scrape this proposal or do a complete overhaul.

Seriously, why all the hate? I love this building, it's so futuristic and different from just about everything else being built!!! Weren't many of you complaining about all the same old glass condos that keep sprouting up, well now we finally have something unique and different, be happy!

apparently this application is largely being filed to up the value of the land, so don't expect the current version to be the one to be built.
