Bed Bath and Table are really taking off again after a slump. I think that the new Hyperdome one is not the only one, I am sure Queens Plaza is getting one as well.

*note, quick check on QP's FB page yes it seems to be going ahead at this stage but it is not open.

Hopefully the Hyperdome has the ability to thrive and keep moving forward even when MYER leaves the centre.

Yep, one is going into QueensPlaza downstairs near Kikki.k, although I don't know how big it's going to be! The space doesn't look nearly as large as the size of Bed Bath N Table's suburban stores.

Their stores vary in size quite a bit, same goes for Adairs. I've seen some that would barely be ~60sqm while others would be pushing ~200sqm.

Thanks it is not on their Website but I had to transit through QP to pick up something for a friend at Witchery and yes I saw it.

Very nice layout in the store much better than Paddington.

I'd say QP will turn to these more down beat stores on the top level. Leonie and Alannah are still going fine so unless something happens, it's goodbye to high end on the top floor, which is probably a better thing in this retail age where things are not good. But it will be good to see the top floor filling up again.

Food Court has EB Games as a tenant and they are to stay as well?

Building approval DA gone in for Stage 2 of Westfield Coomera, a promising sign on that.

All going ahead in the new food court now.

Travelators working. Lots of banging and stuff behind two screens, one for Aldi and one for Food Court.

Parking still is not great but better.

The new Polo Ralph Lauren concept store has opened at DFO. It's well-designed also has some Ralph Lauren bits and pieces for women. Welcome back to Brisbane.

Looks like Pacific Fair is undergoing yet more work. A bunch of food court stores are gone now (opporto for example). Subway is moving to a new location within the food court. The seafood place in the food court is now an Italian place. All the restaurants down the bottom are now open including Outback Steakhouse.

The video arcade is also open and now I see why it took so long. Not only is it the largest video arcade in the state by the look of it (if anyone knows of anything bigger please speak up , its also got a mini bowling alley, dodgem cars and laser tag.

Looks like Zara are cashing in their chips at Robina Town Centre, reportedly in discussions to break their lease with QIC.

It seems like H&M are doing a lot better in Oz than other similar companies (Zara, Topshop etc). I wonder why that is...

H&M and Uniqlo have a more general market appeal than Topshop and Forever 21, which focus more on the extremely cut throat youth wear market.

I don't think the closure of Zara at Robina is necessarily a sign of it struggling to the same extent, just a potential misstep in store locations. They probably have decided that a single Gold Coast store is sufficient, and the Pacific Fair store is obviously the superior one.
