Let Bukhungu not be limited to football matches only. Let the bull fights also take place here. Make it another Spain! And spectators pay to watch the cultural event and create a revenue stream

God no, bull fighting even in Spain is in the decline. not really where we should be heading..

Dont forget stadium pitches need to recover so matches once a week should be where we are aiming at. This would give the groundsmen time to maintain the turf.

Agreed.. This region is a rugby hotbed, so that would be the only other sport I would like to be played in this stadium. We need to add professionalism in the way we operate our stadia.. Ukianza kuongeza Bull fighting..... Ditto goes to the political rallies that seem to tear up this facilities.

You just need to be practical...seriously how many locals in Busia will go to watch a rugby match vis- a vis a bull fight? Whereas I totally agree we should not have the stadia to be used for political rallies and public holiday speeches, we should not spend so much mulla to only have one sport (aka football). We need to incorporate as many sporting events as we can. I just mentioned bull fighting because it is popular in shamakhokholand. Do you expect the guys below to go watch rugby?

Rugby is big at the high school level.. I can see the region's students being bused in to watch their schools duke it out during the provincial level games (is that still a thing)...

But I get your point...

We currently cant keep a good pitch green and well groomed without activities sebuse wakianza bull fighting? I agree they should incoporate other sports. Kama ni bull fighting maybe on the outside grounds but not inside the pitch.

This is a great lesson for the national government, that whenever a stadium is built, it could only be considered complete once the necessary furniture (read chairs) have been put in place
