It isn't the most imposing Town Hall, but Burton-upon-Trent's certainly has an interesting history. It is essentially made up of four separate buildings, and most irritatingly it is not possible to get a really good shot of the whole thing due to the presence of too many trees in the square (which is also used as a car park :bash: ) in front of the buildings.

The rest of the buildings. Part of the function room on the left, then what was originally the Liberal Club with the clock tower, an extension built at the end of the 19th century when the Liberal Club became the main part of the Town Hall and in the distance the 1939 extension.
