Splendido Taal Towers

A new residential development to rise in the Tagaytay ridge area with the construction of four luxury condominium buildings and a country clubhouse right at the heart of Splendido Taal Residential, Golf and Country Club.

To be known as the Splendido Taal Towers, the 12-story quad condominium towers are the latest collaboration between property owner JAKA Group of Companies and property developer Sta. Lucia Realty and Development, Inc. The joint venture endeavors of these two names in the industry include the Splendido Taal Residential Estates and the Soto Grande residential subdivision, which are also located along the Tagaytay ridge area.

“Each of the four condominium towers will have 48 studio apartments, 66 one-bedroom apartments and 28 two-bedroom apartments. Condominium unit owners will receive country club shares in the Splendido Taal Country Club. The Club facilities are, in fact, the centerpiece of the proposed residential condominium development,” says Exequiel Robles, chairman and chief executive of Sta. Lucia.

Each of the units have its own balcony to ensure enjoyment of the fresh and cool mountain breeze, postcard-perfect view of the enchanting Taal Lake and Volcano, or the word-class greens and fairways of the Greg Norman designed par-72 all-weather championship golf course.

I think any of the two would have been a good choice.

These towers should be demolished. I think this is the one I saw being constructed along the ridge.

It is so out of place and destroyed the visual amenity of the highway.

Sorry to all the brokers selling this project, but I wouldn't sell something that ruins the beauty of a place.

It is literally a sore thumb sticking out of what used to be beautiful visual corridor. This project (the towers) should never have been approved in the first place.

If you are driving from the hiway/main road you cannot see the towers being constructed.
You have to enter Splendido and go down to even see the tower being constructed.

You might be thinking of SM's Taal Vista Lodge extension (which is at the ridge) or the tall Robinson's hotel on the other side of the highway.

It you're going towards the direction of the satellite dishes from the rotunda, you'll see the towers on your right. You can't miss it, imagine rolling country mountains, winding roads, the volcano to your left, a little bit of fog, and then boom... hulking condominium tower to your right. What the hell is this doing here? Did an alien just land and plant a building there??

You expect to see NATURE when you go to Tagaytay and then you see this condominium right on top of the ridge??

This project has topped off already and from what I have heard it will be turned over mid 2010 or 3rd Quarter.
The Country Club might be operational by Dec. 2009 ?
