Belgaum is a place where entrepreneurs set up industries in their home town itself.Stablility was missing for 5 years, that is a thing of past now.

In addition hopefully more private investments flow in,we are still hoping to pull in kolhapur foundries into belgaum.

Hopes on Bangalore-Mumbai industrial corridor which UPA 2 proposed.

Also Bangalore-Mumbai industrial corridor is which chidambram proposed.
Belgaum is a jewel in the crown!!! Now its multiple investments .. a huge opening, a DIVISION from 1858.. it will be the next HOT SPOT after B'lore, M'lore

^^ so is Hindustan Times supporting the presence of corrupt politicians just for the sake of victory? Are these new papers really retarded? On one hand, they accuse each political party of giving tickets to criminal and corrupt politicians and onthe other hand, they criticize the political parties for axing the corrupt people. I am very proud of BJP that even though they knew they were taking risks, they decided to stick to their decision of not allowing yeddy in their team.

Victory or defeat! Stick to your principles and you will definitely win! BJP should continue to clean up and prove these media and congress losers that in the end it is principle that wins. For christ sake, BJP don't even regret axing yeddy and you did the right thing by chopping off his tail. If people had so much faith in him, his party would have won the number of seats that BJP did, but the reality is people have outrightly REJECTED that looser.

Yeddyurappa and his son and chief election strategist BY Vijayendra did an internal assessment of about 43 seats and earmarked them as ‘A’ constituencies where KJP candidates would have had a cakewalk. The father-son duo also created a chart of KJP stronghold and identified 56 seats under ‘B’ category, where the KJP could win at least 20 seats. His calculation was to win between 40-45 seats, finish BJP in the state while keeping the Congress tally below 100 so that it needed his party’s support to form the government.

The ‘A’ category seats included Shikaripura from where Yeddyurappa contested and won, Aland, Chincholi, Bhatkal, Byadgi, Haveri, Hanagal, Bidar North, Tiptur, Belgaum, Kundgol, Gadag, Basavakalayana, Aurad, Bidar, Nagatana, Indi, Sindagi, Tarikere, Honnali, Yeshwanthpur and Magadi – all BJP strongholds.

However, his calculation seems to have gone utterly wrong. For a veteran politician like Yeddyurappa, aspiring to become the chief minister of a big state like Karnataka, depending too much on the ‘Lingayat community votes’ was a big mistake.

Well said, Sorry for posting that Hindusthan Times article. At the end principles do matter as you say. Khangress has no morals and ethics , that is why they continue with corrupted people who are involved in 2G Scam, coal scam, CWG scam etc. It has no respect for Supreme court of India either. Looking at today's article about misuse of CBI by Khangress it reminds that CBI has become a Congress Burea of Investigation. Supreme court even said that government should keep off CBI.

http://www.tribuneindia.com/2013/20130509/main2.htm

It was unfortunate that the CBI was still behaving like a “caged parrot with several masters” despite the clear directions issued by the SC in the Vineet Narain case relating to hawala transactions involving rich and powerful people 15 years ago for keeping the agency’s investigations from political interference, the Bench said.
This is very unfortunate.

Control of the CBI and its use and misuse is crucial as a political weapon for the government. This is likely to lead to a fresh face-off between the Supreme Court and the government.
