Network Rail's best contractors
Construction Enquirer reports:
quote http://www.constructionenquirer.com/...e-league-list/ Osborne tops rail contractor performance league – list Aaron Morby Thu 17th January | 15:06 Network Rail has published performance rankings of its contractors and key suppliers for the first time to lift the industry’s efficiency. The PRISM league table is based on performance over the last few months of 2012 and sees Osborne heading the ranking of 36 key suppliers and contractors to the rail industry. Dave Hooper, executive director responsible for Osborne’s Rail team said: “Our approach in making our customers successful is by putting delivery at the heart of everything we do, our ‘Project Manager is King’ culture is having a marked impact on performance, as these PRISM results reinforce.” During the next 12 months, the rail operator will use the measurement process to seek improvements from individual supply chain members and may even seek to exclude the worst performing firms while they raise their game. Scores are given for project delivery, safety performance and company culture. The firms also supply spending data from their own supply chains. Performance scores range from 0-5 where 5 is deemed very good and 3 adequate to give the overall company rating. unquote |
