Hospitality industry seen to ride on tourism surge

AN estimated 4,000 rooms will be completed this year, as growth of the hotel industry rides on the investment-grade status of the Philippines and tourist arrivals.

The Robinsons Group, on the other hand, targets to finish 1,200 rooms this year, with three Go Hotels in Ortigas Center, Butuan and Iloilo.

The Gokongwei-led group also executed a partnership deal with Singapore-based Vanguard Hotels Pte. Ltd. and Roxaco Land Corp. for the construction of at least five Go Hotels by 2016.

Suggestion. If Go Hotel is worth for another thread, why not make one and lock the mall thread. Nakapatong ba ang hotel sa mall structure? That would clear up everything and clean the thread from misunderstanding as well.

There you are. Thanks Franz-bxu for this update. I think the Go Hotel is on the finishing stretch now. What I see in this thread is that much if not all of the updates were related to the mall which opened more than 2 months ago and not with the hotel. Mahirap ba kumuha ng pics or info sa hotel component? Congrats anyway for such project in your place.

GoHotel lobby at the ground floor (where the access stairs and elevators are likely located) is still barricaded and covered with sheets. For now, exteriors pa lang ang may pics then press releases, wala pang pics sa loob unless if the management could only grant us exclusive access.

Wow! It's been quite a while since I last visited other cities' threads, including Butuan's, and it's just now that I learned that Rob Butuan is already open. That seems to be quite fast! Congratulations Butuan! I do hope Rob Place Zamboanga will be rising soon too.
