If this gets approved with no problems, I can see Sky City actually happening soon after.

Looks like it's essentially the top two tiers of the Changsha proposal.

In the third link that you posted it actually said that the local government of yinchuan has already signed a contract with Broad group in the construction of this building.
" 1月24日,银川市政府与远大科技集团签订了《银川市人民政府与远大科技集团有限公司战略合作协议》和《银川阅海湾中央商务区远大超高层建筑及配套项目合作协议》,项目内容涵盖了商业综合体、可持续建筑生产研发基地、合同能源管理等领域。其中,远大科技集团将在阅海湾中央商务区投资建设410米远大超高层商业综合体,将是我市城市建设的新高度和新地标。"

this is the real logical step broad should have taken (without spire about 350m i guess), maybe 200m first, but wenn this still seems a lot more doable than Sky City. Still a challenge that might go wrong, but well

wonder how much time they schedule for this one

I completely agree with you, they should go step by step cause jumping through steps while going up is the best way to fall down

Agreed
There's still no info on their website. This tower is at least more likely to be built.

I guess it looks like Sky City because another design won't work out with that speed build method.

Wouldn't this 'ready for assembly' skyscraper idea just end up putting more Chinese labourers into sweatshop factories making their parts? These towers are a really bad idea if you ask me. Yeah, its quickly built, but what else?

Well, quickly assembled. Pain-stakingly pre-built. Any of the BSB videos show what appear to be pretty modern factories IMO with skilled workers doing all the prefab work. Now what they're all paid, I have no idea. But yeah this looks very doable.

The gaoloumi forum as an image of a (possibly practice) base consistent with this building.

This has the same footprint as this building, though the video says it is in Changsha, rather than Yinchuan.

That's not the Changsha one. It's missing the small outwards indent in the inner corners that's seen on the lowest section.

so if the building under construction in the video is this one, then should this be moved to U/C?
Probably wait until more photos appear. hopefully someone nearby will notice it and take some photos.

The article made it sound pretty official. It all makes sense since Yinchuan government is trading a plot and possible investment with a BSB factory.

...thank you for your disingenous expression of concern for the welfare of Chinese peoples, but China will move ahead and progress, and not be bound by your traditional obsolete logic, thank you very much.
