This is not acceptable! If you have nothing to comment about this particular project, then keep your opinion to yourself. Dont ruin this thread.

Expressway I think is a road that minimizes travel between two cities, it will have less interchanges, so that its sole purpose will be to increase movement between two towns...
Thika Road on the other hand is a highway and is meant to connect town and cities along a route and has complicated interchanges and all other fancy road infrastructure...

EBB-KLA Expressway
Quote:
While West Africa has had many the size of Addis-Adama, Thika-NRB and of course the newest one now EBB-KLA for many decades. One should see the Dakah, Senegal, Abijan, Cote D'vior, Accra Ghana and of course abuja and Lagos, Nigeria expressways. I wonder what took us so long here in the East? Was it just a lack of funds? Professional politicians interested in development outside of their own compounds? Or the rise of our long time friend China which is behind all the new big projects in East Africa. I think it could be a number of reasons but you know what they say, "better late than never". |

Hey what is happeming with Rwanda/Burundi switching to clockwise like the rest of the EAC? Great snap... |
