#UNDER C-B: WEST GATE TOWERS, 24F Res + Com

Hi, well this came out in july, and i posted it over in skyscraperpage but it disappeared. So I just found the article again. This should be u/c in november or sometime around then. Render can be better, but this should be a good addition.

A $30 million twin-tower project will come up in Bahrain's Manama suq area, offering office spaces as well as residential apartments.
Leading real estate developer Mubarak Abdul Aziz Al Hassawi , launching the project today, said the ambitious 24-storey project, known as West Gate Towers, will come up opposite the Manama bus-stand.
"The tastefully designed state-of-the-art buildings will cater to the kingdom's growing requirements for both residential and commercial space," said Al Hassawi.
"With environmentally conscious high-tech facilities in an energy-efficient setting, the towers will provide optimum living and working conditions.''
The two towers - North and South - are linked at various points in the lower and upper levels.
Work on the project is expected to commence in four months time and will be completed in 18 months. Once complete the project will have 48 offices, 50 apartments and two penthouses.

The North Tower is designed for residential usage with high-end apartments offering exclusive facilities for the tenants that will include a health and fitness club located on the 18th floor complete with a fully equipped gym and an aerobics hall; an exclusive coffee shop; changing and shower facilities; spa and grooming outlets supplemented by the open air; and swimming pool and pool deck on the 19th floor.

The South Tower will accommodate the office floors and each floor can be configured to suit from one to four businesses, or several floors can be joined into one business unit. Each unit will be equipped with provisions for all high-tech facilities and services including state-of-the-art communication and safety infrastructure. The tower will also include an exclusive business centre on the 18th floor equipped with conference and meeting facilities, an executive dining hall and lounge seating providing secretarial and business assistance services.

The ground, mezzanine and first floor have been designed for retail occupation with comprehensive facilities providing lifts and escalators. The first floor will also serve as an inter-link across Sheikh Khalifa Avenue between the northern and the southern sections of the mall.

The towers will have car park facilities located from the second to the sixth floor, linked across the Sheikh Khalifa Avenue providing entry from Government Avenue and exit to the Sheikh Hamad Avenue. The car park facilities will provide parking space in excess of 284 cars.

MI'MAR Architecture and Engineering is providing the consultancy services for the development, design and implementation of the project, located at the western entry of the suq.

"We have received full support and endorsement of the Municipal Council which views the project as a stepping stone for the rejuvenation of the Manama inner city," " said Al Hassawi.
