That tower is out of scale in the rendering, just look at the midrises surrounding it.

Yeah... it looks bigger than it's supposed to be. From the picture, it looks like it's 30 storeys or more.

Can anyone present to us an aerial view of subic taken at the same angle as the rendering? Please?

in fairness, i saw their website, and they're marketing subic like its heaven, "better than hong-kong", "safest place in the philippines", "greatest leisure city" ..., etc.,

I agree, and here is a quote from their website:

"It is the optimal city for English education that other cities can't compete against."

I believe that Cebu or Davao has more international schools and english learning sites than Subic.

well.. before BGC and I think the newer CBDs were conceptualized... around the period when Gordon was still SBMA Chairman... around early 90's... SBMA was indeed envisioned to be next to HongKong... with Subic International Airport and Seaport... envisioned to have the city and nature to be close to each other making it a bit environmentally friendly...

but with Gordon booted out... the plans to the CBD seemed to have slowed down... and as we see now.. only industries came in but not much yet of commercial establishments....

di ba sa clark ang hot air balloon contest? I think these balloons need a very wide open space, which subic has not.
