This was Albania until 1878: composed of the 4 "vilayets" of Kosova, Shkoder, Janina, and Manastir. Only Shkoder is in today's Albania: Serbia took two of our capitals (manastir and Kosova), while Greece took Janina. But we'll take them back...

Albania was much bigger in the 7th century, before the Slavic invasion from the Baltic sea. Back then Albania stretched until Austria.

Demographic preassure from Slavic populations reduced Albania to today's territory.

Thank you, for this amusment.. I needed something like this...

In a more serous note:
- No, Albanians can't be considered as ancestors of all Illyrians. Illyrians consisted of many different tribes...

- No, Albania didn't exist in 1878.. this was back then, the teritory of the Ottoman empire...

And I don't think it's funny is to make territorial pretension to 3 of you neighbours.. ( Serbia, Greece and Macedonia)...

You should better concentrated to the develoment of your country and society, then such backward thought won't come in your mind anymore...
