A few shots from a short trip to this interesting city:

The main avenue

Skyline

the historic centre of Macau is a UNESCO heritage site consisting 20+ buildings and locations

Senado Square - the heart of Macau

the most interesting thing to see in this city is the unique mixture of Chinese and Portuguese cultures and architecture

at midnight

Macau Tower

Rua da Felicidade (Happiness Road) - once a red light district

If you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, Coloane (Island) is the right place!

Coloane Village has a very tranquil atmosphere and great Portuguese food (perhaps the best in Macau)

use of tiles

Inside a temple of Tam Kung - an patron deity of seafarers

Hac Sa (Black Sand) Beach - now mixed with yellow sand due to whatever reason

Mainland China is just across a river from Coloane

i'm not fond of casinos, but this one is pretty

Taipa - a major residential district

Near the Taipa House Museum is a large lotus pond park. We sat for an hour just to rest our legs

a singer

Hope you enjoyed.
