Maybe it's because of the removal of the temporary bridges that people aren't being allowed on the park?

I think it must still be opened after the Paralympic Games. Gosh, for the whole of 2013 this is closed!

Heard Alan Patridge will be making a guest appearance in a baloon affixed to the pinnacle of the Orbit Tower.

Does anyone know why the Orbit is no longer illuminated at night? And when it will be lit up again?

It has been illuminated almost every night since the Games ended, as far as I can tell from my home in Bermondsey as I can see it on the horizon. However for the past week (I think) it has been completely dark.
