The photos show something interesting though. Because of the aesthetics aparently the signage is so sparse or unclear that they have had do put up temporary banners and signs. Fail.
The banners are inside fare control for the PATH, so it appears to just be the Port Authority putting up useless banners. They wouldn't help anyone navigate.

The exterior structure is finished, but there is still work to be done, especially in the PATH area.

There is still plywood flooring in the south end of the PATH Hall.

Today, platforms A and D reopened, but Platform C is closed again and full of construction staging.

The two platform level connections to the Brooklyn bound R have not opened.
The connection to the E from T2 has not opened.
The 1 station may be the MTA's responsibility, but I don't think you can really all the Transportation Hub finished when there is an under construction station in the middle.

Floor repairs are going on at several spots, and I am afraid that will be constant activity until Westfield and/or the PA finally gets tired of the white marble, which is looking horrible this week with all the slush being tracked in.

Is there some good platform-level video of the station?

This station looks like something straight out of Star Wars. I still canīt believe theyreyll build this in NYC. Itīs such a modern icon, so nicely done and executed. You see details everywhere that make you appreciate this hub.

After 911, I was even worried they will never go with skyscrapers on this site again. So the result we are getting plus the redevelopment of the whole FiDi neighborhood is something i am happy to witness. Itīs like back in the day, when radio row was redeveloped into the WTC and the whole downtown transformed itself to a better version of itself. :-)

One thing that I would have changed about the Oculus is the railings around the edge of the 2nd floor ... its sorta vertigo inducing the way they angle away from vertical ... at least that's the sensation I got when I was there ... I'd like to be able to lean on the railing but I always had the feeling that I'd fall over the edge if I did ...

But... Why? Why all the closing and reopening? Why are they seemingly allergic to having all of them open at the same time? Why can't they just get them all done right the first time? I understand one round of alternate closings and openings, but three or more? Come on...

And that makes even less sense. There's so little to do!

It is worth a repost, oh wow I can't even describe how strikingly beautiful is this whole thing. It really is as divine as a 21st century cathedral.
I suppose this will be the view that a person will have while seating on the stairs of the future Performing Arts.

Sure it is! It just looks so glorious from this angle, If a remember correctly the Performing Arts has an angle in the front part that reassures the view directly on Calatrava's hub, now that's some serious planing, respect, appreciation, admiration and mutual collaboration between the structures. Glorious Urbanism.

Track level construction wall gone

There is no more temporary wall between track 3 and track 4.

Current platform assignments: A - Newark exit only. B - Newark. C - under (re) construction. D - Hoboken.

Westfield REALLY needs to get some planters and benches in here. The Oculus is gorgeous but it needs some plant life and a few places to sit.

You mean places where people can forget their suspicious looking bags or hide bombs? Yeah that's our world now.

Benches and planters in the Oculus would limit Westfield's ability to fill the space with retail kiosks and rent it out to corporate events. It would also reduce flexibility to adjust the space as passenger routes evolve.

The place should have been designed with smaller side areas outside the main passenger flow that could be used for seating.

As designed, basically every public area is used by people passing though, and not just visitors to the retail complex.

If someone wants to bomb the place they will do it whether there are benches/planters there or not. Living in this constant fear bubble is the exact reason why the ridiculous over kill with barriers is in place all over the complex. The place also serves as a mall, there should be places to sit.

I agree, there should have been AT LEAST smaller areas set aside for seating and such. I can understand them wanting the uninterrupted flow in the main hall but there is literally nowhere to sit except for one small restaurant off the west concourse. I just don't think it would kill them to add some seating somewhere and at least a little bit of plant life. It wouldn't be the end of the world if they did.
