Map of how rich and poor every DC neighborhood is

This could be useful to newbies in D.C. or Baltimore. It's a website that shows you the median income for every neighborhood in America. All you do is type in the address and it finds your location. It's really helpful!

The website is RichBlocksPoorBlocks.com.

Here's an example pic: it's D.C.

Interesting maps. It sucks though that the income range differed from state to state. I tried to compare VA to NC and TX for example. The top of the income (dark green) for VA is $141k. For NC it is only $91K, for TX it was around $84k.

I see that it is based on median income but it makes states like TN and WV look more green than VA. At a glance it makes VA look a bit depressed but in some cases areas in red in VA would be green in PA, GA, OH or NC.

What's also interesting is how they have college park in the red. I wouldn't say that college park is poor since it is made up of tens of thousands of students who are going to school full time. They are necessarily poor. Just without income.

I dunno, I like the differing ranges for each state.

If it was uniform throughout the country, then all of the South would be red
