Make ya mind up...what is it to be

On a side note everything takes time, just because we haven't heard anything for like 6 months doesn't mean they have stopped development behind the scenes. Chelmer aren't gonna tell us everything.

There are far too many pessimistic and impatient people on here nowadays.

Hi Ed,

My apologies for such a late reply to your email, I’ve been completely rushed off my feet recently! I don’t have anything further to add to the update that I sent to you back in February, but I know that members of the team are still busily working behind the scenes.

Kind regards,

******

This is one development I've never seen as any more than a pipe dream. I might be wrong but it appears the developers have no successful track record, finance in place or prospects other than some snazzy PR. It's like 2007 all over again.

Its a shame because when it was first announced there was plenty of exposure to the project in local media and a real sense it was the real deal. But as we have seen so many times in our northern cities, grand plans rarely come off, and this is likely to take a very long time - maybe we'll see a 15 story mid rise in a decade. Same kind of disappointments can be seen in leeds with the lumiere towers and liverpool waters is a disaster XD such a shame.

I just think patience is needed. This industry and hobby of ours is dragged out over a glacial time period - stuff happens really slowly. If things are working behind the scenes then it appears to be still going ahead. If the company don't want to issue press releases then it means that they're getting on with it and don't want to waste any time.

In times like these - (post)/recession - stuff like this moves even slower. You have to admire Chelmer and other developers for doing things like this in such uncertain times; most can't even say for sure whether they'll still exist in a year's time or whether they'll have gone bust!

Either you have the funding or you don't. The banks are not some bloke down the boozer who lends dosh. So, it is either live and set to go, and you sell the arse of it to maximise return on a limited number of units or it is bollocks. Worse, they are useless and the funding will get pulled because they are not selling the arse off it.

Which way will it go?
