Someone took over my account

Someone took over my account and posted spam that I got banned for. I am back after some great work by other fourmers. The statement under my name bnk was changed and labeled Expert. How do I remove that?

Thanks in advance.

Um never mind it seemed to correct it's self.

BTW how does an account get corrupted and how can one protect themselves from this happening in the future?

To add to your other issue, I've been noticing a few people with 'expert' under their usernames, including myself. I changed it, but I was just curious as to why this was happening?

I've seen the expert or "beginner" thing in some forums depending on the number of posts.. Maybe they're planning to do that in SSC..

Expert is one of the standard user titles, such as "Registered User". The criteria used to be 500 posts but I have no idea what it is now.

Your post count will probably roll over back to zero if it exceeds 65 536, 4 294 967 296 or 1.84467441 × 10^19 depending on the database structure.
