Well by definition it's not brutalist: there's no visible concrete.
It's far better quality than much of the housing around - this has been a very shabby area of Deptford. The density is good. There are some new pedestrian spaces, which are always welcome, but the landscaping isn't great: why are the trees in boxes? Will they be able to grow properly? The buildings themselves are not attractive all, to my eyes, but I'm sure some will disagree. In any case it's a fast regenerating area and I think the development is welcome as part of that.

None of the retail units were let last time I passed. Trying to charge rents that are way too high as usual which is denying the area of choice in shops and leisure use. It would be nice if as part of planning permission rents could be capped so people could afford to open up interesting shops, cafes, bars etc. The plan seems to be try to charge very high rents - if that fails convert to housing.
