Much as it pains me to say it, FSU could go all the way next year.

In the FL-Bama game, FL was knocking the snot out of Bama ... until a series of catastrophic turnovers led to demoralization and unraveling.

In the FL-FSU game, FL didn't look like it even belonged on the same field with FSU.

Clemson looks like the team to beat again.

(1) Clemson
(2) Oklahoma
(3) Alabama

Not a USC believer.

I agree completely except for the slight difference being that I would put Alabama #2. But its been a crazy year in college football already so it would not surprise at all to see some team come out of nowhere to get into the playoffs.

Clemson QB too young, not gonna be able to sustain that the whole year or in playoffs.

(1) Oklahoma
(2) Alabama
(3) Ok State
(4) USC
(5) Penn State
(6) Ohio State
(7) Clemson
(8) Michigan
(9) Washington
(10) Va Tech

I like QB veterans...Ok State finally has a defense.

Clemson's QB is a JR. He may not have a lot of starting experience but he is not young. I'm not convinced that OK St beating up on Pitt is all that impressive.

Why did I trust in Ok State? Done again...otherwise my top ten looks pretty good. TCU and UGA lurking the top ten.

Wake Forest was very much in control of the game.

Then they remembered who they were playing and realized they had no right to win.

Alabama looking like it could beat any two teams at once.

Wake is really good (especially their defense) but teams like FSU always have that one playmaker who can make a difference in a tight game.

Nobody and I do mean nobody is going to beat them this year....now, if Deshaun had played a 4th year...maybe.

Interestingly, Clemson is cutting into Bama's lead in the polls.

Typical f***ing ACC. Syracuse falls at home to MTSU then knocks off Clemson who for some reason decided to play their QB with only 1.5 legs.

Nit that I should really care given everything else wrong with college sports but it would be nice to see these teams actually play comprehensive seasons for a change.

Syracuse has been coming on strong and they played lights out. Many more upsets and losses to come in the top ten, all Clemson needs is a healthy QB but it is a tough road ahead to get through the remaining schedule unblemished.

What's wrong with college sports? The only difference is the instant news, social media, etc. Scandals, grey area bending of rules, etc....nothing has changed. Either someone rats you out, you do something stupid that warrants a deeper dive or it's blatantly obvious. It's practically impossible to police.

The industry has gotten out of control the past 20 years or so, becoming such a wealthy venture for some that it's warped way beyond anything collegiate. Until they do things like redress the balance between student and athlete sides of the equation, rein in the recruiting abuses, cut down on practice time and improve athlete insurance coverage, and institute balanced home-and-away scheduling then it's hard for me to take it seriously.

Like a 2 story outhouse it's only great for those on top.

Still better than the NFL. Or at least less bad.
