QUERY | New Traditional Architecture in NZ

Hi,

I am wondering if there are any new or recently constructed buildings which are built in a historic architecture style?

I currently have a thread in the classic architecture forum which features newly constructed buildings which are built in traditional form.

Please see thread here:

http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1022349

I would like to have a few examples from New Zealand added, so please feel free to post in the above thread.

Thanks in advance!

Wow, absolutely stunning thread. Thanks for sharing.

Unfortunately New Zealand architecture does not compete, I would love to see new traditional architecture in NZ, perhaps eventually we will see some in Christchurch as part of the rebuild.

whilst mainly interiors, Parliament House had considerable new work done to it in the 1990s that was in keeping with the original building.

Ive noticed a few new house builds of late with increased detailing that you would have typically seen in the earlier villas.

A new whare nui at Arhura Marae. A unique feature is the figure at the apex of the building made out of pounamu(jade).

Devon is not in NZ, you did get the first one right it's on Takapuna Beach, I used to walk past it nearly every weekend.
