Very slow on this one - looks like another development that is going at a snail's pace. Wonder if there will be any visual change this time next year. 3-4 years have already passed looking at a blank site!

Thanks Luke - perhaps I was being a little premature on this one - eager to see something rise!

I do find the 'hairnet' building a bit silly - pity as the green cladding is good - the architects/developers obviously wanted to offer a prestige rooftop for tenants as a ploy for an easy let? And why leave the west side with a piece of, what looks like, corrugated steel. But in due course much of it will be masked by not only 100 Bishopsgate but also Can of Ham and Mitre (and future buildings to the south).

Trying to picture this area once all of the schemes get going. It's going to be an absolute hive of construction activity.

Looks like one of the mast sections from one of the Pinnacle core cranes.
The cranes are owned by Brookfield so they may be using them on this job or just storing the sections until they are diposed.

Royal Bank of Canada is in advanced negociations with Brookfield to lease around 250,000 sq ft, including four podium floors and additional floors in the tower.

This looks like the system they use for installing the steel Plunge columns into the piles as part of the top down construction. Acts as a guide to hold the column and make sure it goes in plumb

Not a crane section unfortunately
