The boundary isn't going to make any difference to tourist figures. Kirkstall Abbey, Harewood House and other suburban attractions are definitely part of Leeds.

Cuno also means chief, lord or king and Vendus is to sell.

I thought Harewood House was in open countryside? Despite that, Leeds is a far better city to visit than either Leicester or Nottingham.

Well. either way the guy is a native Briton and not a Roman (though he may well have had Roman citizenship).

To be fair I wouldn't know?

Here are some other possible old Leicestrian's...

Bitudacus
Cennosus
Conna
Icotasgus
Maporix
Senedo
S[enic]ianus
S[e]nilis
[V]elugna
Vendicina
Vorvena
[…]catica

This website confirms the "hound" potential meaning for Cuno.

Apparently Riomandus is a Celtic name too.

Sounds fantastic. Can't wait to see the proposed building at the original grave site.

The museum will obviously attract many visitors over the years. School trips from all over the region and beyond, will also be a big part of this.

It is important that the new visitor centre also directs people to the other equally fascinating parts of Leicester's Old Town. There is still time to use the Southgates Site for something other than blocks of student accommodation.
