Not possible, September or December of this year, nope, not even close.

The detailed engineering design will come out 240+ days from the signing of MOA (Jan 2017) this doesnt include the nonworking days (weekends, holidays, work suspensions due to bad weather etc) when it comes out it will be subject to approval by SM.

If approved it will undergo bidding since the Part A is government funded as we know bidding at the fastest can take 6 months it can go for years and years.

And then construction itself which is also not immune to delays.

The safest answer to your question is : Construction will start in 3 to 4 years from now.

The original interchange/common station was hijacked. What else is new?

Nagagamit na sana ito kung si Gibo or Manny Villar nanalo nung 2010. Pahamak kc si Erap nakihati pa sa boto.
Sayang tuloy ang 6 years of noynoying

But we are made to wait... Oh well let's wait.

GUISE THIS IS IT - MARK YOU CALENDARS ON SEPT 29

The Compromise este Common Station "groundbreaking"

Wag sana matulad to sa Northrail "Station Marking" na epic fail

Groundbreaking for LRT-MRT common station set for Sept. 29
Published September 15, 2017 2:12pm
By JOHN TED CORDERO, GMA News

Quote:
The common station linking Metro Manila's three railway systems is finally set for groundbreaking months after the private sector stakeholders and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) agreed on its location.

Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade said the groundbreaking ceremony will be held on September 29.

"Ito po 'yung lugar kung saan pinagsama-sama natin 'yung mga stakeholders... pati 'yung kaso sa Supreme Court nag-file na sila ng manifestation na maalis na," Tugade told reporters on the sidelines of the signing of the memorandum of agreement on Toll Collection Interoperability in Taguig City.

"'Di ba pag nag-groundbreak na ibig sabihin tuloy-tuloy na 'yung proyekto?" he said.
And, thank you once again to the great Joseph Aguinaldo Abaya!

Quote:
The common station project began to take shape in 2009 with a deal between the Light Rail Transit Authority and SM Prime Holdings to build it for the mass rail transit system near SM North EDSA.

But in 2013, then-Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) decided to build the station near Trinoma, citing a study that the government could supposedly save P800 million to P1 billion if the project is relocated closer to the Ayala-controlled mall.

SM Prime Holdings sued the DOTC and LRTA for breaching the 2009 agreement.

In 2014, the SC issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) in favor of SM Prime Holdings stopping the construction of the common station.

In May, the SC extended the TRO to cover the relocation of the common station.

The DOTr earlier said the parties involved will file a joint manifestation to ask the court to lift the TRO. —KBK, GMA News

Walastek, the guy really FCKED up bigtime the mass rail transit lines:

LRT1 = CS issue / "sunk cost" [command responsibility]
LRT2 = split the single turnkey contract into several smaller contracts
MRT3 = maintenances provider fail / procurement of additional trainsets fail

Kaya don't be too amazed with these foreign graduates!

US Naval Academy graduate yan!

Kaya huwag masyadong bumilib sa mga foreign credentials.. mas magaling pa siguro mga taga Mapua kaysa Annapolis graduates na yan!

Kaya siguro sinipa ng Philippine Navy yan kasi kulang sa touch of reality!

License plates, driver's license cards, Tanim Bala at NAIA, the current LTFRB vs Uber, and even the Scarborough Shoal can be linked to him since its suppose to be a Coast Guard (under DOTC) issue... but PNoy was the one that made it into a naval issue when he sent his "new" toy, BRP Goryo to the disputed area...

That was the MIAA GM's fault.

But since it's under DOTC, command responsibility. Abaya is still to blame
