Shame the site is so tight. The storefronts pretty much open onto the driveway. Basically enough room for an open door not to be hit by a passing car.

The only thing I wonder about is if they're going to put tenant names on the lighted areas above the canopies. I think it would be a real plus to pick one or the other; the hideous sign out by the street, or the hideous signs on the top of the building. Can't have both.

Rehab facilities are good for patients and probably help the commnity too as there will be lots of physiscal therapist, Occupational therapist, and speech therapist that will work there and porbably may end up living in the area

I'm pretty sure the townhouses that were displayed today in the urbn page are currently under Costruction. If they are the located on Giddens then this was them.

Also the strip center, shown above, is currenting renovated

I'm glad this building has some varying height ranges and didn't end up becoming one huge cube.

There's a project in the portal for 6000 N. Florida. No information in the entry yet but it says "retail & multi-family".

Here's the TBBJ article too. There's no renderings and it's behind the paywall though. :/

Here's a good laugh ... I had a resident of the neighborhood approach me today about how to kill this project because "it had ground floor retail."
