If the museum doesn't come up, then that's another 15 acres in Gachibowli wasted.

I'm really confused about the Aquarium... The government had invited tenders(PPP) in 2008/9 for an underwater restaurant+aquarium near Mir Alam Tank. I think no one bid for it at that time. The Fisheries dept wants to set up a aquarium(I presume this is not for recreational purpose).

Nothing to be confused about Prodigist .....you can just say the govt has absolutely no idea what its talking about.

in 2008/9 like u said they talked about aquarium in Mir alam tank

about a week back they talked about 500 crore aquarium in Biodiversity park

on Oct 24th i.e. yesterday in Eenadu newspaper there was an article that govt is setting up a drive-in theater, simulator where one can experience going into space, and another AQUARIUM on 84 acre site at Budvel, all with a budget of 400 crores

Now any lay man with any commonsense with go bonkers with govt talk....

I am not sure why anyone in media doesn't question the govt when they talk to press about all these projects. How can a govt announce 2 aquariums in less than a week's time in 2 different parts of the city. Hyderabad would be the first city in the world with 3 aquariums on PAPER
