They applied for building permit in December, which would suggest April or May would be possible. Maybe demo of the old hotel wing a bit sooner.

Did the final design they had still have a small hotel component? I can't remember if this project was all residential or residential/hotel.

Yea, which design it this again. There are two on the main city development thread, a greenish glass tower and a drab/dreary/transparent glass tower.
Also, would this be the most floors (tallest?) for a hotel/residential in the city?

New signs of life. Not sure if it will be the previous design or if it will be fresh but we see some activity in city records for a "40-50 story" mixed use tower with "400 residential units and 150 hotel rooms."

Original AVA had 200 condos, so at the minimum a reconfiguration of space.

This time around, even if it again takes forever, please let it break Seattle's notorious 40 story barrier.

New site plan:

http://web6.seattle.gov/dpd/edms/Get...Docs&id=554460

Very different from the footprint of the previous design.

Mods- can we get a thread title fix to 802 Pine St?

So the metro tunnel depicted in the site plan - is that the current bus only branch or does that include the Link track going to Capitol Hill station?

How's it different? I couldn't tell from that one-page site plan.

Look at them side by side. Completely different.

There's no change to the site.

If I may, LCIII probably would admit that the site is indeed the same with same alley consideration, but that the proposed building footprint has changed (as it has). Previous had a larger corner plaza which looks like that will be gone with current design.

That's exactly what I said in my first post about the new site plan. Never said the site changed. I even used the word 'footprint.'

"Footprint" can relate to either the site or the building. It's usually phrased as "building footprint" if it's the latter.

Or it's "at-grade building footprint" since elements such as parking and above-grade levels often go outside the lines on these drawings. The doorways and plaza on these drawings aren't related to the parking/shoring perimeter.

So I said the site is the same.
