Yes, I believe so. Unless its another company that infringe on the same name and logo. But their retail consultant is Retail Network (whom have assisted 1U on/off with their retail leasing), so you can be pretty sure it is the same Camp 5 as 1U.

Paradigm Mall JB
1) Parkson 200,000 sq ft - 1st premium regional store in southern part of Malaysia and 2nd in JB after in Holiday Plaza.
2) GSC Cinemas 60,000 sq ft - 2nd biggest GSC Cinemas in Malaysia after Mid Valley KL. Will have 16screens 2000seats.
3) Village Grocer 30,000 sq ft - 1st store in JB and 2nd Premium Outlet Grocer to open in JB after Cold Storage in Plaza Pelangi
4) Ice skating 20,000 sq ft - 1st and largest in Johor.
5) Harvey Norman - 1st store in Johor
6) Camp5 - 2nd outlet climbing gym after 1utama, PJ.
7) Home Pro - 1st in JB & 4th store in Malaysia

1) PARKSON (Paradigm Mall, yes and maybe 1 more at IKANO IKEA mall??)
2) Metrojaya (no more opening PLEASE.. just enough in Komtar JBCC & Pelangi Plaza)
3) SOGO (Southkey Midvalley Megamall)
4) ISETAN (Capital 21 or Country Garden Mall??)
5) TANGS (Capital 21 or Country Garden Mall??)
6) AEON & PACIFIC (not gonna be a tenants in a mall in JB because they have their own building)

so new tenants confirm is Wendy's, H&M, Levi's, Sketches, Original Cake, Sox World, Nichii, Dressing Paula, Berskha...

*JB needs moreeeee.. should have Forever21, Zara, Gap, Pull&Bear, Debenhams, Topman/Topshop & more...
*but i don't think Zara/Pull&Bear is coming.. maybe after 2020

Well, ZARA does have an outlet in Paradigm Mall PJ so who knows? Maybe WCT does have plans to get them to open their first outside-Greater-KL outlet in Paradigm JB after all?

I believe it is now the responsibility of "Pavilion" leasing team, joint with Retail Network (provided their contract have not yet ended). Maybe the JB retail market is not yet ready for the Zara, or Zara is not yet ready for the JB market.

At their price point, is there any other competitors in JB? If not, then it surely is an opportunity for Zara to set its mark on JB.

I prefer Topman and Pull&Bear over Zara

Zara is too expensive

Nevertheless hope Paradigm Mall can bring in Zara.

There are already 10 Zara outlets in KL but none in other areas in Msia

that's why ZARA don't dare to open new store outside Klang Valley. They think Penang & JB people couldn't afford it.. even Topman/Topshop don't have plan to open 2nd outlet in JB.. Paradigm is so strategic because of its location and people from Bukit Indah, Senai/Kulai,Skudai,Tampoi,Kempas etc can come or even from Batu Pahat & Kluang!
Paradigm would be perfect for Forever21, Topman/Topshop, ZARA, Pull & Bear, Debenham's, Chanel,
Massimo Dutti, Pedro, Calvin Klein, A|X, Kate Spade, Chili's, Dome Cafe, San Francisco Coffee and sooooo on! but another PADINI, BO, F.O.S coming to open at here.. hmmm not even KLCC/1U standard..

*gotta wait and not hopping much for so called High-End mall at One Bukit Senyum & Angsana Mall 2 after 2020.. these brands come to JB or not.. huhuhu

I think generally JB are not very fashion forward people. They do have the purchasing power i am sure as many of them work in Singapore. For example my colleagues who work here but live in JB... I do not see them wearing branded clothes, not even H&M or Uniqlo.

Again, by bringing all these brands into JB market will change everything. It's really up to them like Zara to take the risk.

If the risk is high, and Paradigm (or another mall) really, really wants Zara to open, then the risk will be borne by both the developer and Zara, with the developer normally taking a 60:40 / 70:30 % ratio of the risk. And do not forget cheaper rental rates.

It is really about who needs who? But there are other "sweetener" to sweeten the deal.

I think it's the spending culture. In KL malls are competing with each other with the best brands and these multiple malls have created a spending culture for the people, similarly seen in big cities like Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok.

Somehow the malls encourages people to spend money in them. However in Jb there are not many decent malls to begin with. There are none actually except CS which was renovated not long ago and the very recent Tebrau Aeon.

I think JB shopping landscape will changed once the big malls like Paradigm, Capital 21 and Midvalley comes in to compete.

Thereafter hope there'll be newer and bigger malls being built which will eventually create the "spending culture seen in KL.
