50-60 stories?Last we heard it's supposed to be 40-50 stories.Do you have a source for this information? We've already mentioned a few pages back that they're proposing a second tower which is supposed to be 40-50 stories.

The bid docs for the project call for a 40-story building...

New Fells Point Construction

Construction has started at the SW intersection of Broadway and Eastern.

https://www.google.com/maps/@39.2854...2!8i6656?hl=en

It's been a vacant lot for a while. A few years ago I think they were planning a restaurant there. Not sure what the current plan is.

No sorry. You are correct 40-50 is the proposal I have seen.

The owners of the Ritz wanted to open a steakhouse there. I think i remember reading that the liquor board rejected their application because they (or maybe FP community) were worried about expansion of the club.

The permit is for construction of a two-story commercial building for use as a restaurant.

Some more downtown properties looking to be converted. I like the idea but these properties are less than a block away from "the block". I wonder what kind of tenants they can attract with all the characters the block brings with it. It is also only one block north of the Holocaust Memorial which was holding bidding for redevelopment along with the BCCC building. If someone plans an apartment building on that site I could see these properties turning around quickly.

There is a lot of development in this area. Here are some more projects that are currently underway or should be under way soon in North Baltimore:

What they have constructed so far looks sketchy... I'm glad to hear they have permits because it doesn't look very professional lol

I suppose they would attract the same kind of people who live at 414 Water Street which is directly across the street from the properties.

Maybe Jeff Bezos will buy up all the properties on The Block, demolish them, and build a 2,000 ft Skyscraper for Amazon's HQ
