DAMASCUS | Public Transport

I can't read Russian so maybe someone here can help. It appears to be a page on a Damascus metro.

They said that on these pictures (taken in 2006) it is seen some building activities for possible metro system in Damascus.
Does anybody know something? But now it is not a time for metro-building, now it the time for nation surviving. Good luck Syria!
