Don't worry

This is a 3km part of M-05 which is reserved for emergency airplane landing.
It's without any border, but have great lane between counterclaims lanes.
And ofcourse there are some stupid guys thinking about supermen.

Such at-grade roads wouldn't be so dangerous, if drivers in certain countries weren't idiots.

Of course, it wasn't a Slovenian. It was just a Slovakian (maybe it was Qwert ) It was just very dangerous.

It still depends on the speed limit that is posted on those roads. I think having at-grade intersections on roads with 100+ km/h is not safe because in order to turn right/left, people will need to slow down even before entering deceleration lanes. There is such a road (limited to 98 km/h) between Moscow and Lewiston in Idaho, and those driver who need to make a left turn start slowing down in the left lane Not good, if you ask me.

Also, there are some idiotic cops in Idaho who sit in the left turning lane catching oncoming speeders. Drivers who are turning left are forced to drive between lanes to avoid hitting cops. However, that is another topic for discussion.

Very good, but where are the emergency lanes?

And where is that Chop - Kyjiv highway exactly? It's like 800km between those cities.

It seems, that emergency lanes are on the left side, usually they are are on the right side of driving direction. Also the emergency lane seems top be little tight, maybe Ok for passenger car, but not for the truck. Just curious why left emergeny lanes?

Otherwise the section looks nice, probably it fullfills good European expressway standards.

It seems like only M3 is the real motorway in Ukraine, note the green signage and road equipment
