The best reaction to the removal of a tree was in Flemington for redevelopment of the Flemington Rd exit of Citylink. This will increase safety and efficiency of the network in the area, especially for bike and tram users, yet they couldn't tolerate the loss of just one tree. Ironically, arguments against its removal noted the visual impact upon driving past the thing, as apparently these fundamentalist greenies had no problem driving everywhere and were blind to the blatant hypocrisy. In any case, if you want to see old trees, go to the bloody forest.
Most people don't seem to know urban council trees are routinely replaced, as they get old and must be removed before they die lest they kill someone on the way down.

Also can people see the level of corruption aimed at the upper house will go through the roof, if they use it to block specific planning applications.

Scandal surrounding the Windsor Hotel redevelopment, that gave off the foul odour of having the Indonesian site owner blocked from developing and forced to sell, so that another developer, presumably sweet with the politicians of this state, could pick up for a song, and get the same building through.

I'm just shocked the elected state members have a direct say? This can only end badly.

But of course GUY and the LNP are the Party of business what utter bullshit!

Oh I forgot that was when Guy was rezoning land so his mates could make quick killing.Surely there is a way the government van circumvent this political pettiness.
Im pretty pissed off with the Greens that are now looking more and more like any other self serving political party.

Are we now going to hear every multi-level building referred to as a Skytower?

Of course we are. People need a catch-all buzzword to rally against.
