Thanks for this. Great news and an awesome project. Please also refer to the Pavillion thread in the 2020 Countdown section.

That looks like an impressive (and very handsome project indeed! It combines many things, but I miss housing. Maybe the area is not suited for private apartment dwellings?

Another winner for KL!

Well....this isn't the final plan. My friend saw another masterplan 2 years ago and its different. Anyway these are just masterplanning so the buildings and the renderings aren't accurate. Even the height of the buildings aren't confirm as masterplanning involves mainly spacial planning

Thank you for the caution, szehoong. A bit of wait and see, huh? As you can tell, I feel like TYW: go ahead and build!

Now given that it may change, I think it will be a great project if it remains somewhere within the parameters shown.

Sorry, baqthier! I'm a technological idiot & therefore can't help you.

Let's hope one of your clever contemporaries will come around soon & give you the shot!

Hint: it really looks MIGHTY good!

Well.....they've got the contact number and the name of the development up already but still no construction info board. If I am not mistaken.......the 'gates' are seen opened and they should be ready for the machineries to be transported in.

yea.....I am sure the project should be 'along the lines' of the masterplan ....maybe there's only minor changes.

Sad to know that there used to be a heritage building there - a school building actually (Bukit Bintang Girls School) .....there's a public outcry for the building to be preserved but too bad the building isn't listed for preservation/conservation.

They could've just preserve the front facade of the building!

Anyway that area smack right in the middle of the shopping district so I am not too sure if anyone wants to live in such busy area ( for one I would! ) but I am sure the majority wouldn't like it. I think the only 'residentials' that could be built there are serviced apartments (which KL are full of em at the moment!

Wow... The Pavilion sure is huge and an amazing development!

Three office towers? Looks really tall, wonder how many meters? The buildings look like around the high-300m...

Cool, a 6-star hotel! Who will be the operator, eh? Can be a competitor to the Burj Al-Arab in Dubai (not in size but in service, star rating, etc)...
