I think the angle at which you're looking at it also affects the colour. A lot of my photos showing the river, which are taken closer to river level, appear less brown IMO.

Solved this. Free glasses given out at the airport:

Nailed it!

Yes, I was just going to say the higher the angle the more brown it looks. Less brown on overcast days. Less brown from lower angles.

Glass, at last (I think). I must say I'm very pleased to see the skirt foundations. Didn't think we would see that until well into the project. Along with the very visible curves, it gives form to the whole building to come.

This is a bit of a pet peeve of mine.

It's funny, other than Q1, Sunland are generally great with facades, so I'm sure this will be nice.

Having said that, what happened with Q1 can never be atoned for. Dammit Sunland! Y u do that!?

All the same, still love Q1, but frakkity frak frak frak the facade annoys me every single time I see it to no end. To dimish such a great design, well it really is criminal, because it should look like D1.

I almost feel like setting up a kickstarter to have them reclad Q1.

Maybe that isn't glass (as I thought), just something very reflective. It's the same sort of frame work as the level below and having just low rise glass at that level doesn't seem to make much sense.

Yes, it's also in the interior, inside the skirt, so it's not external glazing.
