Waliopisha barabara ya juu Ubungo wazoa bilioni 2/-
IMEANDIKWA NA MATERN KAYERA IMECHAPISHWA: 09 SEPTEMBA 2017

JUMLA ya Sh bilioni 1.985 zimetumika mpaka sasa, kuwalipa fi dia wananchi walioathiriwa na shughuli za ujenzi wa barabara za juu kwenye makutano ya barabara za Morogoro, Mandela na Sam Nujoma, eneo la Ubungo Mataa jijini Dar es Salaam.

Utaratibu wa ulipaji fidia hiyo bado unaendelea, ambapo jumla ya wananchi 110 walioathiriwa na ujenzi wa mradi huo watalipwa fidia zao. Kwa mujibu wa Mkurugenzi Mkuu wa Wakala wa Barabara nchini (Tanroads), Patrick Mfugale, mkandarasi ambaye ni Kampuni ya China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) ameanza shughuli za ujenzi kwa kuainisha miundombinu ya huduma nyingine iliyoko chini ya ardhi ambayo itaathiri ujenzi wa barabara hizo.

Mfugale aliiambia Habari- Leo jana kuwa miundombinu ambayo iko chini ya ardhi ni mabomba ya maji, mabomba ya gesi, nyaya za umeme pamoja na nyaya za simu na mawasiliano mengine. Alisema kazi hiyo imemalizika na sasa utaratibu wa kuihamisha miundombinu hiyo inaendelea. “Daraja (interchange) la Ubungo litakuwa na ngazi mbili. Ngazi ya kwanza kwa ajili ya magari yatokayo Kimara kwenda mjini kupitia Barabara ya Morogoro na ngazi ya pili kwa ajili ya magari yatokayo Mwenge kuelekea Buguruni.

Barabara za chini zitabaki kwa magari yanayopinda kulia kutokea pande zote nne yaani Kimara, Mwenge, Buguruni na Manzese au mjini,” alieleza Mfugale. Aidha imeelezwa kuwa mradi huo utapunguza foleni kwa asilimia 100 kwa magari yatakayopita barabara ya Mwenge kuelekea Buguruni na yale yatakayopita barabara ya Kimara kuelekea mjini kwa kuwa hayatasubiri kwenye foleni kama ilivyo sasa, lakini kwa magari yanayopinda kulia foleni itapungua kwa asilimia 75.

Kuhusu uwezo wa barabara hizo, Mkurugenzi huyo Mkuu wa Wakala wa Barabara nchini alisema kuwa barabara hizo zitakazokuwa na urefu wa kilomita mbili, zina uwezo wa kubeba magari yote ilimradi hayazidishi uzito ulioruhusiwa kwa kila ekseli. Mfugale alisema uzito ulioruhusiwa kisheria ni tani 56. Mradi huo ambao utakaogharimu Sh bilioni 177 unatarajiwa kukamilika mwaka 2019 na utakuwa na faida nyingi ikiwemo kupungua kwa muda wa safari na hivyo kuongeza muda wa wananchi katika kuinua uchumi.

Aisee wakipasua kale kaeneo ili barabara inyooke itakuwa poa sana! Kale kakona ni chanzo kikuu cha foleni, gari zinachelewa kuchanganya na kutengeneza foleni.
