All these new terminals look so nice compared to that new one at Katowice Airport.
Especially the new terminal in Wroclaw is very aesthetic!

The Polish airport is really very neat, clean and also covered the very large area. The beauty of this airport as shown in the pictures also looks very natural and mind-blowing.

^ What's the point in having a new terminal almost ready in Wrocław without even having started works on the apron?

Katowice Airport
Katowice Airport master plan:
2012 - lifting terminal A
2012-13 - new apron and maintenance hangar
2014-5 - new runway 3200m CAT II for B747 (actual runway will be taxiway)
2014 - new cargo base
2014 - railway station
2017 - first part of new terminal C (next part after 2020)

The images of new terminal is only a preliminary concept. The final design will be selected through international competition. The first phase of construction will be completed in 2017. We should also add that the current terminals A and B were constructed due to the large increase in air traffic. New terminal in Wroclaw, Poznan and Gdansk will be completed in 2012, Katowice has got terminal since 2007.
These pictures show the airport in Katowice after expansion - 2025-2030

Just Visited Warsaw for the First TIme

What a pretty city. Wonderful time. Stayed at the Intercontinental which has a glassed in pool on the 45th floor and offers a fantastic breakfast!

Anyway, the new terminal is spacious and nice, clean, airy and easy to navigate. It is just a bit sterile and lacking in the shops and amenities of most western european airports. And the business lounge for LOT was a cramped, windowless joke. Overall, the city and the airport are making fantastic improvements.

Number of shops will significantly increase after completion of southern pier, which is almost ready :

I am not sure if you've been to LOT business lounge (probably you've tried some other older lounge):

New business lounge 'Polonez' for LOT's business passangers (opened in December):

modlin will be warsaw's second airport.

this graphic only shows possible locations for a possible central polish airport (CPL). I don't see why this was posted here though. it is highly unlikely it is ever going to be built.
