At the risk of this descending into a typical old firm rabble, it might interest folk that Ibrox appears to be leaking like a sieve once again. A new Twitter account has started posting documents and recordings (as yet unverified but fairly convincing).

At this juncture, the only surprise is that anyone is still surprised by anything.

Eventually, the train-wreck will be so enormous that one will be able to stand at its peak and touch the bloody Moon.

Basically makes everyone involved look like a bunch of scheming crooks.

The chat in this one is gold.

Indeed, mate, that's my favourite (so far) too.

Had a letter through the door from the council about road closures for the road race championships - here's the course

http://www.glasgowlife.org.uk/events...p%20120423.pdf

I assume that this will be on TV? That course should show the city in a good light.

New course this year for the Great Scottish Run. The half marathon looks to be the same as last year up until Bellahouston Park, but then instead of going through Pollok Park it goes up to the squinty bridge, along to the riverside museum and then along the clyde to glasgow green. No Kingston Bridge crossing for the 10k peeps this time.

(also £4 off for the first 6k entrants, so no point hanging about if you were planning on doing it)

Here at Rat Race HQ we've been inundated with requests for us to bring our splashtastic 10km River Rat Race back to the banks of the River Clyde and we are pleased to announce it's return in August 2013. Once again we'll be setting up our event village at the Riverside Museum on the 18th August and when you pitch up on the day, you register at our Registration Tent, pick up your race pack and t-shirt and then the first wave will charge over the startline at 11am.

The course takes about 50-150 minutes depending on your chosen pace. From the impressive Riverside museum, the route strings along either side of the imposing River Clyde and through a fast moving and rapidly developing Glasgow Riverside linking numerous icons along the way. Get up close and personal with Glasgow Tower and the bridges known to the locals as the Squinty & Squiggly bridges, the latter of which provides the turning point of the route. Then its action aplenty as you kayak, climb, crawl and scramble your back to the Riverside Museum and time to get wet’n’wild with the River Clyde! Swim, jump and wade through the ‘wet zone’ around the Riverside Museum and finish with a refreshing flourish and the final hurdle, walk the plank off The Glenlee.

After you've finished you can take your thoroughly soaked self over to our beer tent for a well earned pint of Rat Race Blond or browse the fantastic bargains on offer at the Rat Race Store (or treat yourself to some dry clothes!). If you're bringing the family along we'll have a bunch of free kid's activites to keep them amused while you haul, swim and wade around our wet 'n' wild 10km.
