Spottiswoode Residences (36 storeys)

UOL Group reports strong sales at Spottiswoode Residences condo

SINGAPORE: UOL Group said its latest Spottiswoode Residences project has seen strong preview sales.

About 87 per cent or 130 units of the total 150 released for sale since November 12 have been snapped up.

UOL says it will be releasing another 80 units for sale at Spottiswoode Residences' main launch on Wednesday, November 17.

The property group added that 86 per cent of the buyers were Singaporeans with most buying the higher-priced units that command sea views.

Dolly Lian, UOL Group's general manager of marketing said, "We believe buyers are excited about the potential transformation of the area into another waterfront city comparable to Marina Bay and an extended CBD area offering new lifestyle and workplace options."

Located near Outram MRT station, the 351-unit condominium at Spottiswoode Park Road saw units sold at prices ranging between $1,720 and $2,150 per square foot.

The group said four of the seven exclusive penthouses were sold, with one fetching $1,850 psf.

Spottiswoode Residences comprises a 36-storey block with mostly one and two-bedroom apartments, as well as three-bedroom units and penthouses.

Most of the one-bedroom to three-bedroom units have sizes varying from 603 square feet to 1,421 square feet.

Not sure how many buyers knows that ugly thick home shelter door going to an eyesore. Another big minus is the rooms - it's really small...if u notice the mattress acts as a cover to 'hide' the extend of bay windows into the room. I can safely say forgot about putting in a super single bed frame. Saw the largest 958sf 2 bedroom...i think the 2 balconies+planter+the huge aircon ledge take away 35% (maybe more) of the built in...way too expensive.
Selling waterfront city which is 20 years later ?? that's probably few cycles down the way

the agents keep mentioning its FH compared to other LH projects nearby..guess thats their main selling point.
actually the so called sea view is the same old cranes n containers view u will get..
but for me personally,i do like the big timber decked balconies where u can unwind n chill out..

looking at the size of the balconies, seems like exceed the 10% cap requirement ? Are there similar controls for the aircon ledge and planters ?

who has info on whats the psf for the penthouses which comes with lots of open spaces ?

I never really go to that area. I think you have the best vantage point to take pictures of the project.
