Smile Warwick Castle | Warwick | 39m | 5 floors | Completed

Been for a visit today - and thought I'd share some piccies!

Archery

Guys Tower - 39m & the tallest part.

A TREBUCHET I've got to get me one of these. And a crew to help me fire it. And about an acre of land.

Inside

The Waxworks inside are really lifelike. Anybody would think Warwick Castle was connected to Madame Tussauds in some way.

Ooh, thanks for the photos there blahblah! I've only been here once before and it was overshadowed by the fact that my tooth took the whole day to fall out. I was walking around immense aching coming from my gums accompanied with plenty of blood. And the experience wasn't made any better by the smell in the basement areas of the castle! Seriously need to get some Oust in that area of the castle.

Fascinating place though. I should go when there is a tournament like this going on. It's good to get the full package!

Great pics!

I've got a buy one get one free voucher from the Express & Star for Warwick Castle so I should be going sometime before October. I've been three times before but not for a number of years, plus I was about 5 when I first went with school but I do have a few memories from that trip.

I was hoping to see some photos of the dungeons and the room with the ghost.

You now have to pay extra to go in the Ghost tower. And the queue for the Dungeons was huge - and I wanted to see them fire that Trebuchet - that was really something! 15Kg rock. On fire. Chucked around 3-400 metres!

There haven't been hoardings up around it for quite some time. I think the economic conditions have resulted in it being put on hold, again.
