What might architecture of the future be like in the later part of the 21st century? One trend that I notice is that there is a lot of green skyscrapers that are popping up. What trends do you see in future buildings/skyscrapers?
I'd say green architecture can successfully compete with underground bunkers and other emergency shelters in the future. Some kind of nicely decorated highly ecological shelters? Skyscrapers all way down? Any ideas?
In rich countries it will be definitely eco /green/ oriented. No concrete or heavy materials, just glass.
