What an interesting design. The simple, box shape of the tower belies the complexity of the facade details, which is masterfully executed here by SOM.

With the overlapping curtainwall segments, the sawtooth effect will magically disappear when viewed while walking around, or looking up and down, giving the tower a dynamic characteristic--to the delight of those who appreciate architectural nuances!

Seeing this visual delight for an upcoming project in Manila shows there are local developers that want to join the architecture world in embracing innovative approaches to aesthetic highrise design.

Yeah, these (The Curve, The Finance Centre, W City Center, Ore Square, Net Lima/Park, World Plaza, etc.) are the types of creative and sleek commercial building designs that I hoped would be prevalent in Bonifacio GLOBAL City and not like this tired generic one.

Very excited for this one. The rooftop garden even seems better than Zuellig's version. It could beat Zuellig with this glass curtain wall.

I'm confused. Why is this development claiming to be the "first premium address and first premium-grade office building in BGC"? What about the other existing office buildings like Net Lima or SM Aura? Or the ones that are ongoing like the Finance Centre. Aren't they "premium-grade" as well?

Premium = Grade AAA.

Others are just Grade A or A+. There are only a few Grade AAA office buildings in Makati, there's none yet in BGC and Ortigas. The last Grade AAA building ever built in the Philippines was Zuellig.

There are 3 classes of office buildings: Class A, B and C. Class A is further broken down to Grades AAA, A+, and A.

Sorry, I think Ortigas has one Grade AAA office building: Asian Development Bank. It's highly overlooked because it is not part of the office market but its facilities, I must say, are on par with other Grade AAA buildings like Zuellig.

The Philippine Stock Exchange Tower in BGC is also graded AAA so it's a race between Arthaland Tower and PSE but as of now, mukhang nauna na ang PSE.

I'm afraid not. This one looks legit. Zuellig is considered to be in the top 100 of the World. SOM is really proud of it. By the looks of this one, I won't be surprised if it tops Zuellig, which is great news for local skyscraper architecture, even if both buildings are relatively short.

New PSE doesn't look Premium at all in its latest rendering though. The initial ones look a lot better.

I hope it turns out better than this.

This one looks AAA.
