You will have to enlarge. Downtown is to the right of the trailer.
Looks like the highest point of land between downtown and DC is around Jessup at an elevation of less than 250' above sea level. Not sure how that factors in, but it would seem to me you should be able to see on a clear day already.

I believe I have seen aerials of DC with the mall/monuments where you can just see the Baltimore skyline on the horizon.

Today I drove into town from the south, via I95, for the first time since the sail went up. It looks fabulous on the skyline. I can't wait to see what the lighting scheme is going to be. Hopefully color-changeable LED's are in the works...
