nindot unta paminawon ang desription mactan resort island pero mga datu raman ang maka afford anang mga lugara. if they can make at least our beaches in mactan and around cebu province accessible to the locals then that will be a big improvement . ang kanang ilang gi develop is ok nga pabayran kon mogamit pero the beach mismo should be free for everybody to roam around and swim.
just hoping we can improve on this matter soon. |

i dont trust all locals to access and maintain the beaches. just look at the new senior citizens park, people just leave their bottles at the grasses.
people with no discipline should not be allowed to enter any park or beach. paying for access is one good way to filter civilized people from uncivilized ones. |

It's all in the hands of the LGU mga bai IMO. Even of a beach is open to the public, if the LGU monitors the beach, there is no problem with IS or the cleanliness.
BTW, Ibo and Buwaya doesn't have a beach-y coastline but it is more of a sand-mud substrate and used to be fringed by mangroves. (This is a personal favorite coastline for my interest- creatures that live in these habitats). The problem of illegal encroachment is an utter failure of the LGU (and you know why the LGU coddles them).
