Actually, I don't think they can start right away even if someone were to buy the entire property in cash. I suppose one has to go through the usual building permit, contract awarding, delivery of materials, etc. if it hasn't been done already, before digging can start.

Shazzam does have a point, the devil is in the details on who bought it and the terms of the sale, and one thing that is to fear is the financing of the project while it is underconstruction. To clarify my post earlier, its good news because there is "some assurance" but nothing is final until one can actually live or set up the office in the building. Experience in a lot of "sold out" and "fully pre-leased" projects here in North America seems to indicate that such usually reassuring steps are still not a guarantee with today's economic turmoil. That logic seems irrational but we do live in irrational times.

So I do tend to chuckle at other threads (i.e. PSE Building) where some people think its such a sure thing just because of this and that, that its located in this area or its finance by this tycoon with a wad of cash, when in actuality (and experience has proven again and again) that nothing is final until the building is actually really ready for occupancy.

Up for this project, with pictures taken just this morning, May 27, 2009. New tarps all around....

But I guess that's about it for now. Still being utilized as a parking lot.

Just this morning, I saw some movements on the lot. Apparently they're beginning to launch a new marketing campaign. See covered area on the right part of the picture below.....

Oh yeah! I didn't realize it until now but they did cut the tower in half. So they would only use half the lot...WTF???

There have been some changes to the specifications and, as a result, there will actually be two separate towers constructed on the site.

Most of Tower 1 has been sold to a Korean investment syndicate, although my understanding is that a small number of units remain available for public sale.

Looking at the internal renderings above, I see that some of the artist impressions have been lifted from Avant at the Fort marketing material .... obviously they can do this as all part of Vista Land but creates a bad impression in my opinion.

Salamat anakngpasig! Mukhang marihap bumili nito kasi kung saan mapupunta yung pondo. On the other hand maganda kung magiging presidente siya ha ha ha ha.

I will keep my eyes open for this one.
